Simply Italian

Simply Italian is a chain of 5 restaurants in England (four are located in East Sussex and one in Kent).  I had the opportunity to dine at one yesterday for lunch.  Although we were presented with the main menu we did ask for the lunch special which consisted of a few pasta dishes, an Italian burger (not sure what that is) and last but not least…

It really was an easy choice for me.  After spending the past six years in Italy, I’ve become a big fan of a simple, but really tasty pizza margherita. All the lunch time specials were £4.95 each.  The size of this pizza was perfect for lunch.  Best of all, it tasted good Smile

We ordered coffee at the end, and that too was good.  Basically, given the opportunity I would return.

My daughters favourite Pizza too! A restaurant here in France also offer Italian hamburgers… I asked about it… it’s not even a hamburger at all, and it’s eaten cold! Decided to give it a miss :)

Really – she has great taste! I don’t blame you for giving the Italian hamburger a miss Katie. It seems to me that most times I read your blog, your posts make me hungry and crave a holiday in France :-)
