Tuscania streets in the summer

Following on from my post of Tuscania in winter, my dad has contributed some of his summer photos.

One is immediately struck by the abundance of Star Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) in full bloom.

The brilliant display and pleasant perfume are only hazardous for the hay fever sufferer!

Beautiful colours and cobbled streets Cathy….. Thank you! It looks a well-loved village too. You can imagine the scent wafting up through the shuttered windows on a warm evening or strolling with a gelato…. x

You’re welcome Janine. It is a well-loved town, the tuscanese are very proud of it. I’m so pleased that you can imagine yourself walking around the streets xx
